"Our experience with Judd Builders has been very positive. They have been responsive and flexible. Their crews are professional, friendly, and they clean up thoroughly at the end of the day. That's important when you are basically living with the work crews day after day. The only problem was that our choice of a tile floor for the porch meant winter weather delayed the completion until we had a series of warmer days in early spring. No remodeling job comes without surprises, but it has been worth it as the final product turned out even better than we had hoped. This level of quality doesn't come from the lowest bidder. "We recently purchased property in a community southeast of Asheville where Judd Builders was just beginning to construct the walls of a home near our property.  We then began the process of selecting a custom home builder to build our "dream home" and included Judd Builders, LLC in our search along with other builders that came highly recommended to us.  After viewing many custom homes in the Asheville area and interviewing prospective builders, we narrowed our list down to a select few.  Throughout our process, a number of things kept pointing to the Judd Builders including their creative designs and fine workmanship.  We learned quickly that Judd Builders only builds high quality homes with unique style and detail that sets them apart from the rest.  Furthermore, they don't care as much about volume as they do about delivering exactly what the client wants.  From the time we first spoke to John, Sr., it was quite evident he sets a very high standard for himself and his son, as well as their subcontractors.  Both John, Sr. and John, Jr. are often on site to ensure the work meets their high standards and expectations.

Additionally, the Judds like to establish a personal relationship with their clients.  They are patient, very easy to talk with, and spent a great deal of time answering all of our questions during the home building process.  They were quite helpful in guiding us through the initial design of our house plan which meant a lot.  They also visited the architect with us and provided their opinions and expertise to ensure we made good design choices.  Since we don't yet live in Asheville, we have had to communicate with the Judds via e-mail and teleconferencing.  They are always prompt and responsive.  The comfort level they have provided is beyond our expectations.  As a result of the Judd's enthusiasm and professionalism, we are excited and really looking forward to the next phase of our home construction with the Judds."

But building with the Judds is not just about the look. It’s about loyalty and dedication. We had a serious set-back in our construction process caused when ALL of the windows in our home leaked during a major storm. As the Judd’s worked on getting them replaced, they discovered that the original manufacturer had gone out of business soon after our defective windows were delivered. They diligently pursued window replacement with the distributor, who, because of the good relationship the Judd Builders have established, replaced all of our windows with one of the highest quality windows on the market. They are beautiful, fully functional and leak free! Both John Judd Sr and John Judd Jr stuck by us through the whole process, protecting our interests and working out all of the details to ensure that we had the highest quality product in the end. That’s loyalty and dedication!

"My wife and I recently worked with Judd Builders on a remodel of our kitchen, dining room and living room. The entire remodel was pretty involved, since we removed entire walls and basically replaced everything else in this living space.
