Asheville NC home builders, Judd Builders, was the Presenting Sponsor for the Western Carolina Rescue Ministries 2017 Christmas Gala. The event’s purpose was recognition, fundraising and a celebration of the holiday season. John Judd Sr. was the welcome speaker and delivered a heartfelt message to the attendees. Jessica May, Director of Development/Major Donor Officer, summed up his message best when she said, “John was GREAT speaking – he made me cry!”
New York Times best-selling author, Ron Hall, was the guest speaker. His book, Same Kind of Different As Me became a screenplay featuring Greg Kinnear and Renee Zellweger that premiered in October 2017. The Judd Builders’s group that attended spent some time meeting and talking with Ron Hall. His story is an inspiration to all of us to help those less fortunate. Supporting local organizations like Western Carolina Rescue Ministries who play such a vital role in helping those less fortunate in our community is very important to us.
