John Judd Sr.

John Judd Sr. has worked in the construction industry for some 20 years. He began his work for DuPont traveling between Brevard, NC and Chattanooga, TN before moving to Alaska to engage in Commercial and Residential construction.

John Sr. has a very "hands on” approach to project management. He is heavily involved in every stage of the construction process from concept to design. If you are coming into Judd Builders with a construction plan in mind, John is happy to act as a knowledgeable liaison between you and the architect.

If you’re considering building your dream home, John’s passion and enthusiasm for quality craftsmanship as well as a personal relationship with each client, will put your mind at ease.

With a number of safety awards from DuPont, as well as all current OSHA safety certifications, you can be confident that your new home will be constructed in a safe and environmentally friendly manner.

When John’s not on the job site or in the office, he is happy spending time with his family. He has been married for 35 years to wife Debbie and together, they have two children, Tami and John Jr.  Tami currently  lives in Tennessee with her husband, Bryan.  John Sr.'s father was a great example of what it means to be a man of your word, and he does his best to live up to that example every day. John learned how to love his family, take pride in his work, and honor his faith from watching his father. In what little spare time he has, John is proud to spend his time sponsoring youth sports. His other hobbies include working on and collecting cars and motorcycles.

John Judd Jr. has been in construction for over 12 years. After graduating from TC Roberson High School in Asheville NC., and attending Montreat College in nearby Black Mountain, NC, he got his start as a laborer for a large contractor in Alaska, and ultimately became a construction superintendent, overseeing a large team of workers in multiple developments.

John Jr. shares in his father's hands-on approach to project management. His active presence on each job site ensures close attention to detail in every aspect of the project. John is also dedicated to superior customer relations. When you walk into the Judd office, you'll experience individualized attention to your needs and a genuine sense of pride in their work.
